The gym was packed on Labor Day evening at Incarnate Word High School, as the Shamrocks defeated Holy Cross in three sets. The Knights fought hard, and their program as a whole has definitely improved under the guidance of Coach Becky Solar.

Incarnate Word HS and Holy Cross entered Wednesday’s game with unblemished district records.

The Incarnate Word Shamrocks would remain undefeated in District as they hold on to win 41-40. Incarnate Word improves to 6-0 in District & 13-10 overall, Holy Cross moves to 4-1 in District & 20-7 overall.

Volleyball: South San vs. Holy Cross PDF Print Email

South San and Holy Cross battled it out on Wednesday night at the Durbon Center, with the Bobcats winning in four games: 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Holy Cross fell to 1-1, after defeating SA Christian on Tuesday. Both South San and the Knights play Friday and Saturday in the Harlandale Tourney.

Holy Cross player #2 Esmeralda Gonzales hurt her ankle on this play - we all say a prayer for her quick recovery.
