Game one of the O’Connor-Judson baseball series had it all. From great individual performances, to hard-fought plays, the fans definitely got their money’s worth.
And thanks to Panther catcher Chance Davenport’s throw to third baseman T.J. Greene, who tagged out a Judson runner going back to third base, the O’Connor team defeated the Rockets 5-4 Thursday night.

Blocked shots lead Judson to 39-37 victory over Stevens
Mike Stewart’s two free throws with 4.94 seconds left sealed a 39-37 Judson victory over the Stevens Falcons Tuesday evening at the UTSA Convocation Center.
The gain was a defensive marvel, with shot blockers Stuart Lagerson and Thurman McNeil matching stuffs with Mark Cravens and Joe Monroe. Countless shots were left unattempted because of each team’s inside presence.
Judson (30-6) stormed out to a 17-6 after one quarter, then held on for dear life to ultimately earn the victory. Judson, which enjoyed an 11-0 run during the quarter, got a pair of three-pointers each from Stewart and Tevin Russell.
