Last week Tiger Hoops hosted Kerrville Tivy on Monday, when the Freshmen and Varsity both won.  Varsity defeated the Antlers 43-40 behind Charlie Albert’s 11 points.  The next night Tiger Hoops made the trip to New Braunfels to take on the Canyon Cougars.  Freshmen went home victorious, but JV and Varsity hit speed bumps and fell to the Cougars.  This week, Tiger Hoops will travel to La Vernia on Tuesday and then Varsity heads to the South San Invitational Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Great job Tigers!

The Jaguar Hoop Troop is still going strong with a current record of 8-1.  The only loss was a heartbreaking 61-48 loss to Judson at the Southwest Tournament.  Over the break Hoop Troop went to La Vernia on Monday and came home victorious 93-26.  They followed that up on Tuesday by beating South San 96-28 behind Southeaster Louisiana-bound Erica Hernandez’s 32 points.  This week the Hoop Troop travels to Alamo Heights on Tuesday before hosting the 36th Annual Jaguar Classic.  This year’s Classic includes Floresville, Poth, Somerset, Clark, Holy Cross, Beeville, Southwest, Brandeis, Burbank, MacArthur, Laredo Nixon, Marshall, Brackenridge, Laredo LBJ, Hondo, Victoria East, Lee, Poteet Highlands, Brenham, Laredo Alexander, Corpus Christi Miller, Medina Valley, and East Central.   Come on out to the 36th Annual Jaguar Classic and support the Hoop Troop.  Great job ladies!
