Hey Blanco Fans! Here’s what’s going on this month.
April 22- The High School Varsity baseball team will face Mason in Mason with the game starting at 5pm
April 25- Regional track meet in Abilene

Congrats to the following...
-The Blanco track members who will be moving on to regionals. The track members are freshmen Lauren Winn in the 100 meter dash, senior Andrew Kohl in the 400 meter dash, senior Cody Harvey in the 110 hurdles and in the 300 hurdles, sophomore David Hostetler in triple jump, senior Chantell Young in the 100 meter dash, sophomore Lacee Hunter in the 100 meter hurdles, long jump and in the 1600 meter relay, senior Maddie Walker in the 400 meter relay, 1600 meter relay, and in the 800 meter relay, sophomore Kylie Hill in the 400 meter relay and in the 800 meter relay, senior Lauren Jenkins in the 400 meter relay, 800 meter relay, and in the 1600 meter relay and sophomore Sierra Martinez in the 200 meter dash and in the 400 meter relay. Good luck to all! Regionals will be April 25 in Abilene.

-The Blanco tennis team for having a great season. Also to Austin Carrola for winning first place in varsity boys singles, Yvette Guerrero who placed third in varsity girls singles, Maggie Avila and Kelly Savage who place fourth in jv girls doubles, Mackenzie Ray and Hillary Tidwell who placed first in consolation in varsity girls doubles.

-To the new 2008-2009 Varsity Cheerleading Captain and Co-Captains. The new Captain will be Yvette Guerrero and the new Co-Captains will be Carla Martinez and Kalyn Massey. The new Captain for the JV squad will be Chelsea San Miguel and Callie Faurie.
