Hey all you Panther fans, sorry we haven't updated you all in a while, but we, along with our Panther brothers and sisters, have been extremely busy with track and tennis. We have all been very busy representing NCHS with great pride. We'll get right to it and let yall know how everyone has been doing with their respective activities.
Basketball
The Lady Panthers had a tremendous season this year, advancing to the regional quarterfinals with a post season Area championship victory against Falls City 68-67. I think everyone would agree that game was one for the books. The Lady Panthers had a tremendous amout of community and school support, it was literally standing room only at that game and a very young Lady Panther basketball team kept their composure and came out with a win. Next they met Flatonia for the quaterfinals, and our play-off run ended with a loss to a very disciplined Flatonia team. But, even though the season ended, we will return 9 out of 11 players for next season, and there were no juniors on the team, so the next 2-3 years will be very interesting for the Lady Panthers basketball team.
