2nd Annual Shamrock Golf Classic

Take part in the 2nd Annual Shamrock Classic, Saturday November 15 at Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club.
All money raised at the golf classic goes to the athletic programs at Incarnate Word High School. Those programs include basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, dance, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
All entries include a goodie bag, driving range access, green fees and cart, on course refreshments, and a post-tournament luncheon, the cost is $150 per individual and $600 for foursome.

A Golfers Summer Dream

This summers was a dream come true for two MacArthur High School golfers. Both junior Sara Diaz and senior Daniel Ortega competed in the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach this past summer. The two students received this opportunity as a result of their dedication and performance with the First Tee of San Antonio.
Not to many people get to play on the same course as all time greats like Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, and Jack Nicklaus. Â
“This tournament allowed Diaz and Ortega the opportunity to play along side some of the greats in the game and learn from them as they played one of the most prestigious course in the country,” said Joseph Ashley, MacArthur golf coach. ”For Sara and Daniel this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that they will never forget, and a valuable experience in their maturity in golf.”
